1-5 Racing

The 2009 Ripmax Racer Series will consist of 5 rounds with the best 4 to count and use the following tracks.

Brooklands Raceway

Sussex Raceway (SMCC)

Snetterton Park

We may include an additional round if/when the Palace track re-opens, in this case it will be 5 from 6.

Classes Raced will be Saloon (including GT), Super Trucks, Trucks, Outlaws and F1.

Points will be awarded as in previous years with 100 for the win, 95 for second, 93 for third, 92 for fourth etc (Note BRCA Super National drivers will not score points in the Series, but will still be allowed to race).The finals this year will NOT be double points as in previous years as a trial to see if it improves the Series.

Race fees will be the same as 2008 £15 per entry.

The great thing about the Ripmax Racer Series is that all the race fees (less a small donation to the end of year trophies) goes to the hosting club, thus helping them to maintain and improve the facilities we use.

Last year we had over 70 drivers compete, I hope in 2009 we can match if not better this. I would hope that come 2010 we can expand the Series to include additional tracks possibly Mendip, but it will rely on you guys to support this move, as we don’t want to go to a track and find we only have a handful of drivers.

As in 2008 we are fortunate to have Ripmax supporting the Series, last year many of you were luck enough to win some of the great prizes on offer including chargers, brushless servos, body shells etc, we are still finalising the prizes for this year and i am sure you won't be disappointed. 

Please Note SMCC run a restricted frequency list due to the off road track.
